This gorgeous scarf is handwoven on my Rigid Heddle Loom in my home studio in Nova Scotia, Canada.
This scarf measures approximately 6 1/2" X 81" not including the fringes. (about 16cm x almost 2 metres). There is a maker's tag sewn into one corner of the scarf. The Fringes are about 4 1/2" long (11.5cm).
The warp (lengthwise and fringes) is 100% Wool yarn. The weft (or weave, back and forth) is 100% wool and mostly handspun yarn I spun myself first after first dyeing the fibres. It is in blues, white and greys.
Care Instructions: Wash gently in tepid water and gentle soap, roll gently in towel to absorb the water, then lay flat to dry. Never put this in a washing machine or dryer and do not wring in order to keep it looking beautiful for many years.
